Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania – Arrive in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll be met by your Safari Spirit Journeys representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Nestled between lush gardens and Mount Meru views, Gran Meliá Arusha offers a luxurious start to your photographic adventure. Settle in and prepare your gear for the wild days ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire – Land of Giants

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its giant baobabs, large elephant herds, and vibrant birdlife. A golden-hour afternoon game drive offers spectacular light for photographing elephants, lions, and the vast, iconic terrain.

Day 3: Journey to the Serengeti

Depart Tarangire after breakfast and travel to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, arriving in time for lunch. En route and on arrival, enjoy photo opportunities with giraffes, zebras, and predators in open landscapes.

Days 4 & 5: Explore the Heart of the Serengeti

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro – Scenic Transition

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Wildlife in a Lost World

Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch before returning to the lodge for your final night.

Day 8: Return to Arusha & Departure

After breakfast, return to Arusha for a farewell lunch. A day room at Gran Meliá Arusha will be available for rest and freshening up before your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight.
