Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania – Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a friendly Safari Spirit Journeys representative will greet you and transfer you to Rivertrees Country Inn. Nestled on the banks of the Usa River, this serene retreat offers the perfect place to unwind before your safari begins.

Day 2: First Game Drives in Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a wildlife-rich haven famed for its ancient baobab trees and vast elephant herds. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild and an afternoon game drive in search of big cats, giraffes, buffalo, and more.
Later, settle into Nyikani Tarangire Camp, a stylish tented camp that blends comfort with wilderness.

Day 3: Cultural Immersion at Lake Eyasi
After an early breakfast, travel to Lake Eyasi, where you’ll engage with the Hadza, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. Join them on a morning hunt or gathering walk and witness a traditional cooking demonstration.
In the afternoon, meet the Datoga people—renowned blacksmiths—and learn about their customs, crafts, and way of life. Stay overnight at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge, nestled against the Rift Valley escarpment.

Day 4: Journey to the Iconic Serengeti

Arrive at Nyikani Serengeti Camp, your comfortable tented retreat in the heart of the wilderness.

Day 5: Full Day Safari in the Serengeti

Optional (extra cost): Soar above the savanna in a hot air balloon, followed by a champagne bush breakfast.

Day 6: Scenic Drive to the Ngorongoro Highlands

Arrive at Ngorongoro Farm House, a working coffee plantation with panoramic views, and enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by tropical gardens and birdsong.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Return to Arusha
This morning, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife. Encounter black rhinos, elephants, lions, and flamingos in a surreal and stunning setting.
After your game drive and picnic lunch, begin your return journey to Arusha, where you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
