Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Gateway to the Wild

Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a warm smile from your Safari Spirit Journeys host awaits. You’ll be transferred to the charming Arusha Coffee Lodge, nestled on a working coffee plantation. Relax in your stylish Plantation Room and enjoy a gourmet dinner as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Into the Wilderness – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, set out for Tarangire National Park, a land of massive baobab trees and dense elephant herds. Enjoy a thrilling game drive through this scenic park, home to lions, leopards, and a rich variety of birdlife.

Later in the day, travel to Gibb’s Farm in the lush highlands of Karatu. Here, you’ll be welcomed into a tranquil oasis where luxury meets sustainability. Enjoy a farm-to-table dinner and a restful night in your private garden cottage.

Day 3: Journey to the Legendary Serengeti

Travel through the Ngorongoro highlands into the endless plains of the Central Serengeti, where wildlife roams freely and predators lurk in golden grasses. Along the way, enjoy game viewing and picnic-style dining.

Arrive at Nimali Central Serengeti, an elegant tented camp tucked into the wilderness. Relax in your luxury tent as the sounds of the savanna serenade the evening.

Day 4: Northward to the Migration – Northern Serengeti

After breakfast, continue your journey to the Northern Serengeti, where the legendary Great Migration unfolds. During the dry season (July–October), this is where herds of wildebeest and zebra make daring river crossings in front of waiting crocodiles and big cats.

Settle into your premium suite at Nimali Mara, perched in a remote part of the park, and experience a perfect blend of raw nature and modern luxury.

Day 5: Great Migration Safari – Northern Serengeti

Day 6: Scenic Safari to Ngorongoro Crater

Enjoy one last game drive through the Serengeti before heading southeast toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Arrive at Melia Ngorongoro Lodge, perched on the rim with breathtaking views into the world’s largest intact caldera.

Enjoy a peaceful evening above the clouds with a fine dinner and reflections on the wild beauty you’ve witnessed.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Departure

Rise early for a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s most wildlife-dense areas. Spot endangered black rhinos, massive tuskers, and lion prides in this natural amphitheater.

After a picnic lunch, begin your journey back to Arusha. Enjoy a late lunch or refreshment stop at Arusha Coffee Lodge, where a day room is available for comfort before your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport.
