6 Days Camping Safari
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your Safari Spirit Journeys guide. Your journey begins with a morning drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobabs, thriving elephant herds, and seasonal river systems. Enjoy a game drive through its savannahs and woodlands, observing giraffes, lions, buffaloes, and a variety of birds. After a picnic lunch and an afternoon of exploration, arrive at your campsite for dinner and overnight under the stars.
Overnight: Public Campsite, Tarangire
Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, continue your adventure across the Ngorongoro Highlands en route to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Enjoy stunning views and a packed lunch before reaching the central plains. Begin your first Serengeti game drive—keep your camera ready for cheetahs, lions, and the ever-moving wildebeest herds. Settle into your campsite in Seronera for a true wilderness night.
Overnight: Public Campsite, Seronera (Central Serengeti)
Day 3: Full Day in the Serengeti
Spend the entire day exploring the endless plains of the Serengeti with both morning and afternoon game drives. This region offers unrivaled opportunities to see Africa’s Big Five, large predator populations, and migratory herds (depending on the season). Enjoy a bush picnic lunch to maximize your time in the wild. Optional hot air balloon safaris can be arranged at an extra cost for a unique aerial view of the park.
Overnight: Public Campsite, Seronera
Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
After an early morning game drive and breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Pass through varied ecosystems and enjoy optional visits to a Maasai village to learn about their traditional lifestyle. By late afternoon, arrive at Simba Campsite on the crater rim, offering panoramic views and a refreshing highland climate.
Overnight: Simba Public Campsite, Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Transfer to Lake Manyara Area
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five. Explore the crater floor during a half-day game drive with a picnic lunch beside a hippo pool. Later in the afternoon, ascend the crater and transfer to the Lake Manyara area for your final night in camp.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Begin your day with a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic reserve known for its groundwater forest, alkaline lake, flamingos, and tree-climbing lions. Watch for baboons, elephants, and hippos as you explore its lush ecosystem. After the game drive, return to Arusha, where your camping safari concludes.
Optional extensions to Zanzibar or airport drop-offs can be arranged through Safari Spirit Journeys.
