Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by a Safari Spirit Journeys representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure, exploring Kigali’s vibrant culture and cuisine.

Day 2: Kigali to Nyungwe Forest National Park
After breakfast, embark on a guided city tour of Kigali, visiting key sites such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local craft centers, and the bustling markets. Learn about Rwanda’s rich history and its remarkable journey of recovery and growth. Enjoy lunch en route before continuing your journey south to Nyungwe Forest National Park.
Arrive at One&Only Nyungwe House, a luxurious eco-lodge nestled on the edge of the rainforest. Settle into your elegant villa, each offering panoramic views of the surrounding forest and tea plantations. In the evening, indulge in a gourmet dinner at the lodge’s restaurant, featuring locally sourced ingredients and traditional Rwandan flavors.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking & Canopy Walk
Rise early for a guided gorilla trekking experience in Nyungwe Forest. Accompanied by expert guides, venture into the forest to observe chimpanzees and other primate species in their natural habitat. The trek offers a unique opportunity to witness the diverse wildlife and lush vegetation of this ancient rainforest.
After lunch, embark on a thrilling canopy walk—one of East Africa’s only treetop walkways. Suspended 200 feet above the forest floor, the walkway provides breathtaking views of the forest canopy and the diverse birdlife that inhabits it.
Return to the lodge for a relaxing evening, enjoying the tranquil ambiance and exceptional hospitality.
